Regulation of the "TT Tinan 13"



Timor Telecom, S.A., hereinafter "Timor Telecom", with head-office at Rua Presidente Nicolau Lobato, Timor Plaza, 4.º Piso, company number 1014630, registered in the National Directorate of Domestic Commerce under no. 01847Q/MTCI/XI/2012 intends to launch a campaign entitled "TT Tinan 13", which will be governed by the following terms and conditions:

Clause One
Purpose


  1. The "TT Tinan 13" campaign which enables participants to win prizes by answering questions related to Timor Telecom and Timor due to the celebration of the 13th anniversary of Timor Telecom. E.G: "What is the colour of TT’s logo?".
  2. The prizes awarded will depend entirely on the player’s knowledge about the subject and on how quickly they answer, chance plays no part in determining the winner.


Clause Two
Acceptance, duration and advertising


  1. Participation in this campaign implies that the participant fully accepts and is bound by this regulation.
  2. This campaign will last from 12am on 1 October 2015 to 11:59pm on 30 November 2015, in which on the last day only the participants that are eligible for the final prize can participate.
  3. The campaign will be advertised as follows: outdoors, billboards in Timor Telecom stores, flyers, on the website of Timor Telecom (www.timortelecom.tl), Sapo TL (www.sapo.tl), on the Facebook page of Timor Telecom, and on the radio.
  4. Timor Telecom ensures that the information provided through such media contains all the information needed to participate in the campaign.
  5. The list of winning participants will also be advertised in some of the advertising media above.


Clause Three
Participantes na campanha


  1. The campaign is intended exclusively for Timor Telecom’s prepaying clients.
  2. The following people will not be allowed to participate in the campaign:
    1. Board members or directors of Timor Telecom;
    2. Timor Telecom employees;
    3. Other collaborators directly involved in the activities of Timor Telecom;
    4. Immediate family of any of the categories mentioned in the preceding sub-paragraphs;
    5. Employees and other collaborators of partner company TimWe.


Clause Four
Registration on the campaign platform


  1. To start, participants must send 1 (one) text message with the words "REG" to number 8333, after which they will receive a message confirming the registration. To exit the Quiz, participants must send a message with the words "UNREG" to 8333.
  2. Note, however, that participants may use other words to register in the Quiz.
  3. Upon registration, the participant will receive a text message with the "TT Tinan 13" questions, as provided for in the next clause. Even if participants do not answer, after the registration and during the entire campaign they will receive, daily, a question which they are free to answer. No costs will incur if the message is not answered.
  4. The cost of the text message referred to in paragraph 1 above is USD 0.50 (fifty US cents).


Clause Five
Participation in "TT Tinan 13"


  1. Each text message received by participants after the registration will contain one question which participants must answer accordingly to their intuition. To answer the question, participants must send a text message with the answer they believe is most suited, to number 8333.
  2. Each answer will generate a new text message with a new question, and also the result to the previous question (Ex. Nice!) and the points collected by the participant.
  3. Each correct answer means 50 (fifty) points for the participant.
  4. Each incorrect answer means 20 (twenty) points for the participant.
  5. If the participant does not answer, he or she will not be charged for any amount.
  6. All points collected by 11:59pm (Timor-Leste time zone) will be eligible for the daily prize draws. If the participation is made after this time, it will be considered for the next day.
  7. Each text message costs USD 0.50 (fifty U.S. cents).
  8. Text messages not paid will not be counted for the purpose of collecting points.


Clause Six
Choosing the winner


  1. The winner of the "TT Tinan 13" campaign will be chosen every day and every week (counted from Tuesday to Monday of each week). There will also be 1 (one) final prize.
  2. The selection of the daily and weekly winner is accomplished through the accumulation of points for a respective customer on a given day and week, respectively. In case of the final winner, it will be verified the 20 greatest accumulation of points. These top 20 participants will be entitled to an additional set of questions to determine the winner. The winner will be the one who respond faster to questions.
  3. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the participant who has achieved the highest score in the shortest possible time.
  4. Points are personal and non-transferable, and are associated to a single telephone number (i.e. MSISDN).


Clause Seven
Limits to the participation


  1. Participants can only qualify once for the daily prize during the entire campaign. They will, however, be able to continue to collect points towards the weekly and final prizes.
  2. Participants can only qualify once for the weekly prize, once in the entire campaign. They may, however, be able to continue to collect points to qualify for the daily and final prizes.


Clause Eight
Prizes


  1. The prize for the daily winners, as provided for in Annex I, depends on the day and are as follows:
    Points collected
    1. 100 USD (one hundred USD) in cash;
    Prompt reply
    1. iPad Mini;
    2. Top-up worth 20 USD (twenty USD).
  2. The daily prize for the prompt reply (sub-paragraphs i) and ii)) will be given to the participant who sends 5 answers in the shortest possible time from the moment of the notification. The daily prize will be given to the participant with the most points collected on the day of the draw.
  3. The prize for the winner who collects the most points in a week is:
    First month
    1. Samsung Galaxy Smartphone (October 7 and 21)
    2. Sony Xperia Smartphone (October 14 and 28)
    Second month
    1. Samsung Galaxy Smartphone (November 4 and 18)
    2. Sony Xperia Smartphone (November 11 and 25)
  4. Prize awarded to the final winner is:
    3000 USD (three thousand USD) in cash for the participant who belongs to the Top 20 and has responded the faster to the questions on the day October 30.
  5. Timor Telecom reserves the right to change the campaign’s prize list, which will become effective after it is published on www.timortelecom.tl.
  6. Timor Telecom reserves the right to offer other alternative prizes of equal or similar value if the prizes referred to herein are, for some reason, unavailable.
  7. Timor Telecom will not be responsible for any event that may limit the use of the prize by the winners of the campaign, and will not guarantee that it meets their expectations.
  8. Prizes are personal, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, and the objects they contain cannot be converted to cash.
  9. If the participants are under age, the prize will be given to their parents or legal guardian.


Clause Nine
Announcement of winners


  1. The winners will be notified directly by telephone (text message and/or telephone call), and will be given the details regarding the prize award procedure.
  2. The daily winners will be notified on the day following the day to which the prize refers, the weekly winners will be notified on the day following the weekend to which the prize refers, and the winner of the final prize will be notified on the day following the end of the campaign.
  3. The data of the weekly and monthly winners will be stored in a database, intended only for the awarding of the prizes.


Clause Ten
Receiving the prizes


  1. At the time of the notification referred to in the preceding paragraph, the participants will be informed of the date, place and information needed to collect their prizes.
  2. The winners of the campaign will have up to 15 days as from the date of notification to collect their prizes.
  3. After the period referred to in the preceding paragraph, the winner will lose the right to the prize and no cash payment will be made to replace the prize.
  4. To collect the prize, the winner of the campaign must show his or her voting card or passport, the data of which must tally with the identification held by Timor Telecom for the related mobile telephone number, the winning text message, and must sign a statement of discharge.


Clause Eleven
Complaints


  1. Complaints regarding the prizes to be awarded by the "TT Tinan 13" must be submitted to Timor Telecom at the Timor Plaza store, or by calling 172, by the following deadlines:
    1. For the daily prizes, by 6pm of the next working day following the notification;
    2. For the weekly prizes, by 6pm of the 2 (two) next working days following the notification, and
    3. For the final prizes, by 6pm of the 3 (three) next working days following the notification of this prize.
  2. Complaints submitted after the deadlines set out in the preceding paragraph will not be considered.


Clause Twelve
Miscellaneous provisions


  1. Timor Telecom reserves the right to (i) suspend this campaign at by given time, temporarily or permanently, or (ii) change the terms and conditions thereof, in which case it will provide the new rules on its website (www.timortelecom.tl), thus being exempted from any obligation or compensation to the participations.
  2. There will be no additional costs other than those referred to in these Regulations.
