FAQ’s - QUIZ HADAU PREMIU



> What is the “Quiz Hadau Premiu”?

The “Quiz Hadau Premiu” is a campaign which enables participants to win prizes by answering questions general culture in which every week the participants have the opportunity to participate in a different race. E.g: “Which of the following is an automobile brand?”.

> How long does the campaign last?

This campaign will last from 12am on 7th April 2016 to 11:59pm on 6th June 2016, in which on the last day only the participants that are eligible for the final prize can participate.

> How can I participate in the Quiz Hadau Premiu?

To participate, send a text message with the word “REG” to number 8333, and wait until you receive a message confirming the registration. Note, however, that you can use other words to register in the Quiz.

> How much does it cost?

To participate, you must pay 0.50 USD. Each text message sent has a cost too. You will not have to pay for receiving questions or any other additional information.

> What do I need to do after joining the Quiz?

After you receive the message confirming your registration, you will start receiving text messages with questions to which you can answer to number 8333 with the answer you find most fit. Each text message sent has a cost of 0.50 USD. If you do not answer the question nothing will be charged.

> How many points do I get for each question answered?

You will get 50 (fifty) points for each correct answer.

You will get 20 (twenty) points for each incorrect answer.

> How can I track all my points?

Every SMS with the questions shows your points collected so far. You can also send a text message with the words “PONTUS” to number 8333 to find out how many points you have collected.

> How are points counted?

Each answer will generate a new text message with a new question, and also the answer to the previous question (Ex: Diak!) and the points you have collected. All points collected by 11:59pm will be eligible for the daily prize draws. You must always answer the last question received. If you haven’t answered a previous question, just ignore it. If you’re still in doubt, please contact the 172 Call Center or one of the TT Stores, who will gladly help you solve the problem.

> What are the daily prizes?

There are two types of daily prizes: for points collected and answers in the shortest time possible/special.

Points collected: the prize is 50 USD (fifty US dollars) in cash. The winner will need to have collected the most points and the end of the day.

Quick reply/special: a).iPad mini

The winner of the special prize is the participant that sends the five quickest answers from the moment of notification. For points collected prizes, the winner is the participant with most accumulated points on the concerned day.

> What is the weekly prize?

The prizes for the weekly winner are:

a). Samsung Galaxy Smartphone b). Sony Xperia Smartphone

> What is the monthly prize?

The monthly prize is:

a). Laptop

> What is the final prize?

The final prize is:5000 USD (five thousand USD) in cash for the participant who belongs to the Top 20 and has responded the faster to the questions on the day June 6.

>How is the final winner chosen?

The top 20 participants (with the most points collected until the eve of the last of day of the quiz) will enter a final phase. This final phase consists of another set of questions on the final day. The winner will be the participant who answers all questions in the shortest time possible.

> How are prizes awarded?

The prizes awarded will depend entirely on the participant’s interactions with the quiz, that is, the number of answers the participant gives regarding the subject and how quick he answers.

> How are the daily, weekly, monthly and final winners selected?

The selection of the Quiz Hadau Premiu campaign winners will take place every day, every week and every month. Weekly prizes are counted from Thursday to Wednesday of the following week. Monthly prizes correspond to the more points within each month. There will also be one final prize.

In the event of a tie, the winner will be the participant who has achieved the highest score in the shortest possible time.

The daily, weekly and monthly prizes will be given to the participant who has more accumulated points on the concerned day, week and month. In case of quick reply/special prizes, wins the participant that answers in the shortest possible time from the moment of the notification.

For the winner of the final prize, it will be taken into consideration the highest accumulation of points for the first 20 clients. This Top 20 will have the right to an additional set of questions to determine the winner. The winner will be the one that answers quickly to all of the questions.

> Are there any limits to the awarding of prizes?

Yes. Participants can only qualify once for the daily prize during the entire campaign. They may, however, continue to accumulate points for the weekly, monthly and the final prize.

The same applies to the weekly prize winners, in other words, they can only win the weekly prize once, but can continue to collect points for the daily, monthly and final prizes.

And also the same happens with the monthly prize winners. They can only win the monthly prize once, but can continue to collect points for the daily, weekly, monthly and final prizes.

> How will the winners be disclosed?

The winners will be notified directly by telephone (text message and/or telephone call), and will be given the details regarding the prize award procedure.

The daily winners will be notified on the following day, the weekly winners will be notified on the day following the weekend to which the prize refers, the monthly winners will be notified on the day following the month to which the prize refers, and the winner of the final prize will be notified on the day following the end of the campaign.

> How do I know what the daily prizes are, as they vary?

Through the text messages sent to the participants.

> How do I know who the winners are?

Visit the Timor Telecom Facebook page to see the photos of the Quiz winners.

> How and when will the prizes be delivered?

For the daily prizes, TT will send a text message on the following day and the winner can collect its prize at the Timor Plaza. For the weekly and final prizes, the winner will receive a text message, in due time, with the information needed for them to collect their prizes.

> How long do I have to collect the TT prizes?

All winners have 15 days after the day on which they have received a notification to claim their prizes. You need to show proof of ID. NOTE: if the prize is not available over the weekend, the winner will receive it on the following Monday. Note that to be the winner the client must receive the following text message: “Ita mak MANAN husi TT ohin loron. Favor ba Loja TT-Timor Plaza ho Kartaun Eleitoral wainhira simu Premiu & Loron simu so Segunda-Sexta feira deit.”

> Do I need to deal with any documents related to the prizes I have received?

All the documents will be processed by a TT partner.

> How can I quit the Quiz?

It’s simple! All you have to do is write “UNREG” and send it to number 8333.

> Who am I competing against in the Quiz?

We apologize, but to be fair to all Quiz participants, we do not have access to the information about the other Quiz participants. This is controlled by the computer system.

> What is my ranking in the Quiz?

We apologize, but to be fair to all Quiz participants, we do not have access to the information about the other Quiz participants. This is controlled by the computer system.

> What are my chances of winning the Quiz?

The more you play, the more points you will collect, so you will increase your chance of winning prizes.

> I have sent a text message but didn’t get a reply. What should I do?

First, please check if your Inbox is full. If not, please contact the 172 Call Center or one of the TT Stores, who will gladly help you solve the problem.

> I have sent a text message but my points are not increasing!

If you have answered the question correctly, your points should increase. If this doesn’t happen, please contact the 172 Call Center or one of the TT Stores, who will gladly help you solve the problem.

> Why have my points dropped?

Points cannot be dropped. If this happens, please contact the 172 Call Center or one of the TT Stores, who will gladly help you solve the problem.

>What if the prize I’ve received does not work properly?

We will replace it with a new one. Please bring your prize to the TT Store at the Timor Plaza, along with its original packaging and all its accessories.

> What type of questions is there?

It is a simple question, its answer must be sent to 8333.
